Best intentions.
It appears that Technology has gotten ahead of itself. I recently had to revert a smart phone to its original factory setting and in the process I ended up deleting my blog pictures. I will endeavour to restore all of the pictures lost as soon as possible.
ugh.
on a much nicer note, I have learned to work with 100 thread. I love how small the work comes out. YEAH!!!!!!
Mike.

I have not been doing much different lately
I have been turning out Snowflakes, and medallions. I have also been working on yardage for a friends wedding gown. Really not something to jump up and down about but certainly been prolific at turning out the medallions and yardage. So come Christmas I will have a large selection of tatted things to give away. I will post some of the medallions I have been working on here. Again. Thanks for watching. I Really do appreciate the comments that all of you have offered in the past. Yours. Mike.

Expand on a good thing
one more to add
I decided to work with size 10 thread, get a bit more coverage and used a simple pattern
1st round
R 2 p 2 p 2 p 2 p 2 p 2 cl
(picots are joined on second picot to second to last picot from previous ring)
rw
CH 3 p 3 p 3 p 3 repeat 9x
R 2 p 2 p 2 p 2 p 2 p 2 cl
rw
CH 5 p 3 J 3 p 5 repeat 9x
(Join is to middle picot of previous round)
Working with odd numbers makes it easier to make patterns or work with beads should you wish to add them. Working with even numbers of rings will make it very simple to run one single line around as this one is.

Chritmas ornaments part 2.
I really am loving working with christmas ornaments. They move along quickly and you have a lot of options you can try to get differet effects. I am probably going to pull the red on red and change that out for possibly white on red or a dark color to stand out against the red background. It looks different when you have it in your hand as opposed to getting pictures of it.
Here are a few more examples of the ornaments. I guess this is what happens when you have a lot of thread and nothing else to do right? heh.
