Still working with Ornaments.

I finished a couple new ornaments. one is simple white tatting around a red globe. Very dramatic up close, the second is with HDT in a multi colored blue white and green, It is very nice I think. I had a friend threaten to steal it. Then again she also likened herself to a magpie. Not sure whether to be amused or flattered. heh.

Also incuded are the two newest iterations of the snowflake pattern. not sure what to call the blue one, the green one is called "Green grow the rushes" from my friend lark.

Ooh, I like! The ornaments and the snowflakes. It's amazing how a different color changes the the look of the same snowflake pattern. Have you thought of putting one of your ornaments on the monthly challenge? The month of December is ornaments.

Pretty ornaments! You're doing such a nice job...your tree and the trees of your recipients will look beautiful with your tatting on them.

You are all so wonderful to comment on my blog. Thank you ever so much!
This was a bright spot in my day to find them waiting in my box.

Tattrldy, I have no clue how to put these up as a challenge. Perhaps you can explain it to me. I will pm you and ask again after this subject. :D

Wow! Glass ornaments, they are really pretty. I'm scared to use glass -- they DO call me "grace" for nothing.

I've just finished looking at your last five posts... amazing! I love your snowflakes, and the glass ornaments are fabulous! I bought a bunch (maybe 4 or 5 dozen) last year on clearance with the idea of adding tatting to them. Alas, I was sidetracked by a broken wrist, and have just recently been reminded of them! I hope I can tat some as beautiful as yours!

Very nice tatting Micheal!!! I really LOVE your green 'rush' snowflake. Just GORGEOUS!!!!

I also loved reading about your grandma. Reminds me of hubby's grandma. She mostly considered 'in-laws' as 'out-laws'. However I got along really terrific with her (well until we moved to Idaho). I am the only one in the family that was given her home-made soap recipe. Even though I think she made me enough for my lifetime and maybe a couple of our kids'. Not even any of her own children got the recipe. I guess she must have liked me LOL!
Again really gorgeous tatting Michael,,,I am glad you asked her to teach you.
